SUMMARY

The Parking Service Consultant is responsible for taking care of all patients, visitors, and employees in regards to anything under the parking umbrella up to and including knowledge about parking, protective services and site location while meeting standards outlined by Towne Park, and the Hospital/Hotel or Facility.

Job Details

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $18 per hour plus tips.

Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and thanking every customer. Communicate with field operation via radio to provide vehicle assistance, access assistance, or other information as needed.

  • Assist customers with parking assignments, refunds and email requests. Assist customers via phone regarding parking access and additional services.

  • Become an “expert” of the CCF parking site. Make the proper decision on where a person parks based on the criteria give to them.

  • Record parking violation information, customer shortage backup and valet retrieval times. Distribute office mail. Process daily deposit. Other duties assigned.

  • High degree of attention regarding parking assignments, access cards, refunds, emails, and credit card receipts. Ability to communicate parking information and policies in a manner easily understood by the customer.

  • Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer inquiries. Able to analyze and solve problems. Must maintain confidentiality of customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Required Licensure, Certification, etc.:

  • N/A

Work Experience:

  • One to three months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of parking garage policies 

Skills:

  • Must be able to read and write standard English language
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Must be able to write simple correspondence
  • Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems

Ability to understand a multiple tiered rate system
